Don’t forget that the clocks went back an
hour this morning and that Evensong is now at 4pm until the Spring!
Donations for The Besom
The Besom collecting box is now at the back of Church. Could you help by perhaps buying an extra item when you do your weekly shopping? Tins of meat or fish, tinned vegetables, tinned fruit, rice, pasta, sugar, tea bags or coffee etc are most welcome, Please no 'basic'or 'value' items but standard own brand foods are now acceptable.
Deanery Synod
The next meeting of Surrey Heath Deanery Synod is at 7,45pm on Wednesday 6th Noiovember at St Martin’s on the Old Dean. The speaker is the Revd Mark Wallace, new vicar of Lightwater, whose topic is ‘Welcomed in - from visiting to belonging’ about the journey from a first visit to being a ‘church member’. Meetings are open to anyone who would like to attend.
Operation Christmas Child
A reminder from Eve that the shoe boxes have to be in church by Sunday 10th November, please.
