There will be a service of Holy Communion and stripping of the altars at 8pm on Thursday 5th April.

An evening with Father Bruce Batsbone, Anglican priest in London Diocese  at St Nicolas Church , Guildford on Wednesday 18th April at 7:30 pm
'The Jesus Prayer' - A gift from the Eastern Orthodox tradition as a way for all Christians to pray. All welcome.


Person Friday Wanted

If you have good office and computing skills, a pleasant telephone manner and work well as part of a team, we have a voluntary job for you in the Church Office. If you cannot commit to every Friday could you jobshare?  Hours are 10-12 noon. Please See Lynne for further details. Full training will be given.


Fish & Chips Lunch

We are not having a fish and chip lunch in April. The next one will be Tues 8th May.

Mothering Sunday

Next Sunday (18th) is Mothering Sunday which we will celebrate at our 10am service. Suitable for all the family. All welcome.

Lent Lunches

The last  Lent lunch is on Saturday March 31st in the Church Centre from 12.30pm. A simple lunch of soup and bread will be served. Donations for this will go to the Bishop’s Lent Appeal. All are welcome.

Palm Sunday

On Palm Sunday, April 1st, there will be a Taizé service, at 6pm in the Church Centre.
For those who have not encountered a Taizé service before, it is a simple service of bible readings, silent meditation and simple chants. This kind of service arose from the Taizé Community which started in France shortly after the Second World War. I encourage as many people as possible to come to the service as part of their devotions for Holy Week.

Come and hear the Dean

The Very Revd Victor Stock will talk on 'A Dean's Eye View', which promises to be both informative and hilarious, at at 6.30 pm St Lawrence’s Church, Chobham,  on Saturday March 24th at which Cost is £5. If you would like to stay to supper in the Church Hall, the total cost is £20. Tickets form Lucy Delacombe.
