Week commencing 11th September
Harvest Festival gifts
As has become our custom in recent years, our Harvest Festival gifts will be going to support the work of Step by Step, who are based in Aldershot.
Their Accommodation Services, particularly Emmaus House and Victoria Road, rely on the generosity of churches and other groups to keep them supplied with the 'basics' throughout the year. This enables them to minimise their food bill while still providing wholesome, nourishing and tasty meals for the residents. Some of what is given is also distributed as food parcels to other needy young people. Whatever you can give, it won't be wasted!
This is what is really helpful: Breakfast cereal, Coffee, Long life milk, Long life fruit juice (orange, apple etc), Powdered milk, Tea,
Sugar, Tinned meat, Tinned vegetables (not chick peas, thank you), Jars or tins of sauces to make dinners with e.g. curry, pasta sauce, etc, Tinned fruit, Tomato ketchup, brown sauce, mayo,
Pasta, Tinned tuna, Stock cubes, Jams, marmalade.
Thank you for your help.
St Anne’s Ladies’ Group
The group’s next meeting is on September 22nd at 7.45pm in the Church Centre when Chris Howkins talks about poisonous plants/
