Week commencing December 5

Parish Christmas Cards

Please check at the back of church for your bundle of cards to deliver. Bundles are smaller this year as we have more volunteers, so check the streets on your route before you start. Try to deliver before December 12th. Thanks, Abby.

Operation Christmas Child

Just to say a big thank you to all who contributed in any way to make Operation Christmas Child (part of Samaritan’s Purse) such a success. A staggering 80 boxes were collected by Stephen last weekend - a record for St Anne’s. This year our boxes will go to children in the Ukraine. Also, a big vote of thanks to Eve Nightingale-Sharpe for organising the boxes and collection each year.

Surrey Heath Archaeological and Heritage
Trust Christmas Lecture

This year’s lecture on Thursday 16 December at 7.30pm in the Church Centre is a UK first. The title is Bellerophon and the Chimera
Romano-British
Hero to Patron Saint of England. This talk by Revd. Professor Martin Henig was originally delivered at the J. Paul Getty Villa, Los Angeles, USA last year.

Tickets: £3 members/£5 non members (includes mulled wine/mince pies/coffee/raffle) from Archaeology Centre, 4-10, London Road, Bagshot, GU19 5HN (Cheques made payable to SHAHT). Or call into the Archaeology Centre 7-9pm Tuesday or Thursday Evening.
